All TK-8 Students are invited to participate.
WHEN: 8:00-8:20 am Tuesday and Thursday mornings (Sept 15th-Nov 19th)
WHERE: Students will join a PTC member on the Franklin track.
WHY: The goal is to encourage the development of a healthy fitness habit- running and/or waking. Students will receive a lanyard with card and barcode to carry as they run/walk laps; each student will get their card scanned as they pass the start line. Lanyards are collected at the end of each session and mileage is tracked per runner. There is a built in reward schedule, with charms dropped off to teachers for delivery Monday afternoon/Tuesday Morning! Each trojan who participates will begin with a necklace and earn specialty charms for each mile they accomplish.
How Does it Work? Register your student by no later than Friday, September 11th
When it rains, NO TROJAN TRACKERS!
After a rain, students may ONLY walk :)
Receive a charm for each completed mile.
Lastly, THIS IS NOT JUST AN EARLY DROP OFF FOR YOUR KIDS. There will be adult supervision, but ALL registered kids MUST WEAR A TROJAN LANYARD & BE on the track RUNNING or WALKING laps.
